we're engaged!

our engagement wasn't totally unexpected. i knew he would ask some day but had no idea when. i definitelty didn't expect it during his visit to celebrate the anniversary of our first date. i had just finished getting ready for my neice's school program, when he blurts out "i brought snacks" thinking he was talking about the film festival we were heading to that evening. he asked me if i was going to open the m&m box sitting on the coffee table which i assumed were the snacks. inside the box were pink and white m&ms that said, "will you marry me" with the ring. i freaked, shed some tears and of course said yes!
